Fatou Dravé
Graphic Design and Illustrations
Fatou is a Canadian-Malian designer and artist based in Tiohtià:ke (Montreal).
After completing a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design at Université Laval, she moved to Geneva in 2018 to pursue a Master’s in Design at HEAD – Genève.
Her design practice is rooted in culturally and socially engaged approaches, with a particular focus on community-oriented projects. She frequently collaborates with other artists, cultural institutions, and associations to create visual identities that reflect these commitments.
More recently, her artistic work has been exploring themes related to her diasporic heritage through writing, sound, and research-based design — approaching storytelling as an act of memory and transmission.
Fatou is currently working on the graphic design and illustrations for Brèches’ upcoming thematic cycle — stay tuned to discover her work!
