Laurence Bolduc
Communications and Social Media
After studying communications and tourism management, Laurence developed a strong interest in rural communities, particularly those influenced or transformed by tourism. This curiosity took her to Nicaragua and then to Ecuador, where she worked as a marketing communications consultant. Since then, she has carved out an unconventional yet complementary path that brings together her passions for nature, art, and human connection. Her journey has led her through various fields, from international cooperation to graphic design agencies and community-based organizations.
In 2023, she joined the expedition vessel Plastic Odyssey to take part in the fight against plastic pollution. As a solutions reporter, she traveled through more than ten countries—from Latin America to the Pacific Islands—documenting inspiring stories of people working to create meaningful change, armed with her pen, her camera, and her love of human encounters.
Now a French-language communications and public engagement specialist at the David Suzuki Foundation, Laurence weaves together her values of social and environmental justice with a deep openness to the world and a keen sensitivity to the challenges of our time. She joins the Brèches team as a communications collaborator, bringing her heart and expertise to a project rich with meaning.
