Mathilde Bourgeois
Communications and social network
D'First trained in cultural action and later in social work, Mathilde has worked for several years supporting people who have experienced violence, as well as women in vulnerable situations.
In 2025, she experiences a “brèche moment”: a need for perspective leads her to reconnect with her love of cultural mediation and communications through Brèches. Her goal: to contribute to its reach with a mindful approach to the use of networks and to inspire calm within the informational cacophony.
Her background in social work continues to inform her professional qualities in this collaboration — her sensitivity, social commitment, and trust in collective strength as a response to adversity.
Passionate about choral singing, dance, and object repair, her creative pursuits connect her to her search for beauty, communion, and resistance in a sometimes disenchanted world.
For Mathilde, collaborating with Brèches means taking part in a search for peace, slowness, beauty, and openness — remedies to the societal ailments that concern her.
Working with Brèches is also about cultivating hope and caring for its cultivators.
